Sam is getting 18ccs of milk every 3 hours now. He weighed 3 lbs 14 oz tonight. The doctor decreased his IV fluids some more and stopped the lipids. His belly is still measuring good. They will continue to check the with xrays of his abdomen. Today's xrays looked really good. We are praying that Sam will continue to tolerate his food without the residuals as they increase the amounts of milk each day. We are so thankful for what God has done in Sam's life. :)

Lindsey and Jeff, We are so happy to hear that little Sam is doing better and growing every day. Tell him Great Grandma Joan says to keep eating and get strong so he can come home. I saw her this weekend and she was very concerned. I'm sure she has heard that he has gained some weight and getting better. We are keeping up with his progress and praying for all of you. I know very well what you and Jeff are going through as parents but just like Jimmy and I did (keep the faith and trust that the lord is watching over all of you) Give Sam a kiss from his Great Grandma Joan, Great Aunt Susie, and Great Uncle Jimmy. Mannnnnnnn!!! I feel old. We love you all, Aunt Susie
Someone from that barn college broke in the hospital and forced Sam to wear that toboggan. I will be contacting the authorities shortly to handle the situation until I can make it up there myself. In the meantime, burn it in a fire and wash his head vigorously.
Way to go Sam. You are getting to be such a big boy. Give her a great big diaper full for Mother's day on Sunday. This will be a verry, berry special mother's day this year for your mom.
Keep up the good work baby Sam.
We love you,
Cousin Joy and Aunt Teet
